The FinTech Abu Dhabi Innovation Challenge is an initiative of Abu Dhabi Global Market in collaboration with KPMG to support the development of FinTech within the region. The initiative positions itself as a catalyst for collaboration between incumbent financial services institutions and FinTech start-ups. In this year’s Challenge, selected start-ups will be tasked to develop a prototype solution addressing real business issues identified by UAE-based institutions (Corporate Champions). Each start-up and Corporate Champion will present the outcome of their collaboration before an audience of financial institutions, regulators, corporates and media on 17 September 2018 in conjunction with FinTech Abu Dhabi 2018.
