Charter’s New York Operations Risk Shutdown

Charter Communications has failed to spread enough high-speed broadband across New York and could lose its authorization to operate in the state.

Charter had admitted that it would deploy its network in New York in exchange for being allowed to merge with Time Warner Cable. It agreed to bring high-speed broadband network access to 145,000 under-resourced homes and businesses.
