Canon To Provide Customer Satisfaction Feedback With Its Security Cameras

Canon has developed security cameras that not just ensure security but also tracks data on customer satisfaction. It has introduced a security camera that recognizes facial expression of customers and helps determine customers’ satisfaction levels.

The camera detects three emotions- anger, sadness and joy- and the age and gender of the person. The data is then sent to Cloud where the data is categorized in the form of a percentage.

The camera can be used to track in-depth responses of customers for different businesses like supermarkets, theatres, shopping malls and amusement parks.

The technology is used with cloud-based image management service, VisualStage which is assisted by emotion tracking software, Aroba.

The technology is ideal for businesses with multiple shops as data from all the cameras in different shops will be stored on Cloud which can be easily accessed through smart-phone or laptop.
