Citing the continuous downslide of rupee against the dollar as the reason, the Indus Motor Company (IMC) has announced to again increase the prices of its vehicles. This will be the third increase within a span of few months this year.
The company recently increased the prices of its cars in March by Rs0.3 million. At that time, IMC CEO Ali Asghar Jamali had said, “Maintaining the prices has become impossible due to the devaluation of rupee against the dollar”. This time , the company has reportedly increased the prices of sedans by up to Rs135,000 while the prices of its CBUs have increased by up to Rs1,900,000.
Pak Suzuki and AL-Haj FAW increased their vehicles prices for the third time in June 2018. Following other auto manufacturers, it’s highly expected that Honda Atlas might also surge the prices of its vehicles also.
