E-commerce Growth Boosts Q1 Profits of Dubai’s Aramex

I strongly believe local companies should make themselves ready for Ecommerce boom especially since Ali baba bought Daraz. Companies need to invest heavily in automation  and technology – especially the last mile. Money reconciliation is another area worth looking at because that is a challenge.

Here I see great promise in companies working exclusively in the COD area like BlueEx and Call Couriers. I see great service reviews from their customers and extreme dedication to details for the Cash On Delivery operations.

Dubai ARAMEX is a logistics and transportation company that is showing great promise. Its first quarter 2018 report showed profits rise to AED103.4 million, compared to AED91.8 million in Q1 2017. The big game is definitely starting to happen.
