First Bykea, then Careem, and now Uber has also launched its bike-hailing service in Pakistan. The newly launched service will initially be available in Lahore only; however, a company statement says the service will soon be expanded to other cities as well.
The ride-hailing service says UberMoto will “give access to thousands of people to quick, convenient and affordable transport, at a push of a button through the Uber app”. Uber Pakistan General Manager Safee Shah said, “UberMoto will provide affordable safe and reliable means of transportation while also creating additional job opportunities in the country.”
Uber is currently providing service in more than 600 cities across 77 countries on six continents.
