Panasonic has inaugurated two show rooms in Karachi as a way to expand customer touchpoints in Pakistan. The electronics giant which has operations in Japan, the Middle East and Africa, celebrates its centennial anniversary this year and plans to boost its brand presence in Pakistan through the exclusive showrooms.
Raafi’s Panatech, located at Clifton Center at Schon Circle and SE digital, located at Makki House near Sharfabad Chowrangi, the showrooms will serve as a one shop stop for customers looking for all sorts of electronics such as speakers, televisions, Air Conditioners, Home Appliances, Cordless phones and Beauty and Grooming products like electric razors and nose hair trimmers.
The showrooms also contain a space for after-sales customer support to help customers with any difficulties or queries.
There has been a marked shift in Panasonic’s strategy as it approaches one hundred years. New appliances released ahead of that date in March have shown increased integration with the Internet of Things technology. Panasonic has also chosen to concentrate on a services based business model rather than a product based one, mirroring the activities of major companies like Amazon and Microsoft.
With the growing interest in IoT across Pakistan and an increase of companies in the shared-economy model, Panasonic may just capture a niche segment of the market and thrive.
