Facebook is looking to launch a News section for its video Watch tab this summer according to Axios. It is currently testing video partnerships with 10 publishers, working its way towards a daily video feature that would be at least three minutes long. The feature remain part of a year-long test to assess best results. According to the report, Facebook is working with publishers on the budget needs and monetization opportunities. This will become Facebook’s first stand-alone product for national news on the Watch tab.
