Facebook assembled 300 admins of top Groups at their Communities Summit in Chicago where they launched new tools to empower group admins. These include Group analytics, removed member cleanup and membership request filtering. A brief description of two such tools is given below:
Group Insights will allow admins access to various metrics such as real-time growth, membership and engagement. Letting them know the number of posts that are being published and what time they’re most popular at.
Scheduled Posts will allow admins and moderators to post at a particular schedule. The timings could be up to the admin’s convenience or use the analytics from Group Insights to during popular times. Admins can write posts in advance and publish them over a period of time.
